How the tournament works:

16 players will play off in a single elimination tournament bracket.

To get your name on one of the 16 spots on the bracket, you must win a group play competition.

Groups consist of 8 players. 

When 8 people have bought in, that group will begin play.

The group will be randomly divided into pairs. Each pair of players will play one round of

"Pro-Face Off". The player with the highest score from the group of 8, will win that group round and be placed on the Final Single elimination bracket.

Players that don't win the group round can keep buying into rounds to try to win a spot on the final tournament bracket. 

Tournament play will begin when the 16 spots on the bracket are full, or at 8:00pm. Whichever comes first.

Songs will be selected by the officials in a radom order. Difficulty level will be pre set.

There will be seperate catagories for Easy, Medium and Hard.

This tournament is about having fun.

Rules:

1. All players must handle themselves in a professional and courteous manner. No one likes a poor sport.

2. The judge(s) rulings are final. No arguing wth the judge(s).

3. No cheating. Anyone caught cheating or the suspicion of cheating arises, that player will forfeit and leave the area.

4. You may not use your own guitar controller..

5. All players must be in the area of play. Any player who is on deck to play, must be on deck no later than 2 minutes after their name is called or forfiet the  match.

6. Because of where the pause button is located on the guitar controller, the pause button may be accidentally activated. The opposing player will have no more than 12 seconds to start the game out of pause. Any player activating the pause button more than 2 times will lose the match.
